If you could do anything in the whole world that you wanted at this moment....what would it be?
I would take my kids to the beach. We would build a ginormous sandcastle, sit in the middle of it and pretend to be queens, kings, princes, and princesses while have a picnic "tea". We would run up and down the shore looking for shells and sea "creatures" to bother. We would "surf" on boogie boards and jump over the waves. (We would get burnt because we have terribly fair skin and no amount of sunscreen seems to prevent it!) We would take naps under umbrellas and get shaved ice from those wonderful people on the boardwalks. We would have no obligations, worries, troubles, or tantrums. We would do cartwheels and spin until we were dizzy and falling all over each other on the soft sand. That is what I would do with this moment....if I could so whatever I wanted.

We would RV across America and show the kids this beautiful country....my dream!
ReplyDeleteWe would go on a wagon train out west where you dress in period clothing and do thing the "yesteryear" way....the only modern convenience allowed? A camera :)
ReplyDeleteThat or drive down the road to Hana in Maui, Hawaii to the seven sacred pools and swim in the rainforest! Yum!
not surprised at all mindy, haha
ReplyDeleteOh! Cute!! Think we would be there right there beside you...
ReplyDeleteWould love to have you come by our place: http://inspiredgiftsblog.blogspot.com
Rainforest - fun! The wagon train, all you Mindy! RV, Gretchen, that would be awesome! I read recently, that you can rest RV's in the off seasons for as little as 99$ a night! That is certainly cheaper than a hotel for all of our big families! (Of course you have to pay for the gas but still!)
ReplyDeleteHey,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog, Parenting in Blue Jeans. Boy, the beach does sound good. My kids always end up like eating sand or having some diaper emergency...hot pretty. Anyway, wanted to let you know that I added a date night giveaway. Feel free to add your name to the hat!
